Austin Rabon serves as a member of the Youth Mentoring Team this summer. Bootie Cothran and Susan Matthews are singing a duet today. Bootie is the media and technology specialist at FBG. Susan and her husband, Kyle, are parents of Emily and Christopher. Logan Campbell is singing a solo today. Logan, who serves as a Herring choral scholar, in the Sanctuary Choir, has completed his junior year as a choral music education major at Furman University. He will be studying conducting, voice and German in Germany for a year before beginning his senior year. Jamie Womack is the deacon assisting in worship today. Jamie and her husband, Jay, are members of the Koinonia Class and have two daughters, Jayne and Charlotte. Communion Committee members scheduled to serve today include Carol Ann and Jim Anderson. During worship, there will be a time of conference in order to elect trustees for the board of the First Baptist Church of Greenville, South Carolina Foundation. Those nominated are Pat Booker-Christy, Jim Childress and Eleanor Dunlap. The rose placed on the baptistry today is in honor of Baker Allen Freestone, son of James and Niechelle Freestone, born July 8, 2016.
