• MSc validated until 2010, Oct 2004.• Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College

appointed as the external examiner, March 2005.• MSc accredited with the Institution of Engineering

Designers (IED), June 2005.• Accredited by the ECUK for IEng registration via the IED

route (first in the UK), June 2006.• Awarded the best Thesis prize from the IED for Mathew

Dixon (Ford), August 2006. • Currently recruited to target as of the 3rd cohort.• Strong links with industrial partners particularly Ford,

Jaguar-Land-Rover, Jeld-Wen and BAE Systems.
