Visiting Avon Valley
My visual guide
On busy days I might have to queue and music will be
playing at the entrance to the park.
I can have lots of fun in the indoor play barn.
The play barn can get very busy and loud. If I feel
overwhelmed I can go outside and come back later.
I can play outside.
Sometimes there will be announcements on the tannoy
to tell me what is happening in the park.
Events like Pig Racing are fun but also busy and loud.
I might see mascots like Felix the Fox & park rangers.
There are lots of animals to meet at Avon Valley.
I can get food from the Woodland Café.
Or I can eat my own picnic at one of the picnic areas.
There are lots of places to wash my hands in the park.
The toilets have hand dryers which can be very loud.
I might be able to go on a ride at Avon Valley like the
train or tractor
Some rides are closed depending on the weather and
time of year.
In the summer I can do the riverside walk where there
is lots of space.
If I need help I can speak to a member of staff.
When it is time to go home I exit the park through the
shop.
