• In this project it consist of the date collected during the visit of high court ranchi . this project was undertaken by the ram kripal construction pvt ltd .

Site in-charge of high court ranchi is Mr. Braj Kishor.

the field of construction after induction as a private limited company in the year 2003

• It stands high and possesses very rich experience in the field of constructions.

SOIL TEST• Geotechnical engineers have a clear

understanding with soil-structure interaction.Soil test for construction is an important step taken by the geo technologist or the soil engineers.

• They investegated and found the bearing capacity of the site is about 25 N/MM2

• It was found that the site is on the decomposed Rock .

TYPES OF FOUNDATION USED IN

FOUNDATION

• ISOLATED FOUNDATION These are most economical.

They are usually in square or rectangle size with the column sitting in the middle of the square. It's a kind of pad footing.

• COMBINED FOOTING A footing, either

rectangular or trapezoidal, that supports two columns. It's also a pad  footing.

Earthquake resistant design was considered • Jack arched roofs or floors, where used

shall be provided with mild steel ties in all spans along with diagonal braces in plan to ensure diaphragms actions.

GRADE OF CONCRETE USED

• Grade of concrete used in the foundation of High court ranchi was M 36 .

M36 is used in the foundation to provide high strength to the foundation and to resist the earthquake .

• Lower part of foundation consist of polythene of 75 micron.

CURING

• Curing is giving the concrete what it needs to gain strength properly. Concrete strength depends on the growth of crystals within the matrix of the concrete. These crystals grow from a reaction between Portland cement and water—a reaction known as hydration. If there isn't enough water, the crystals can't grow and the concrete doesn't develop the strength it should. If there is enough water, the crystals grow out like tiny rock-hard fingers wrapping around the sand and gravel in the mix and intertwining with one another. Almost sounds like a horror movie—our concrete baby has turned into a monster!
