EffiShunter 300 is a modern two-axle locomotive suitable for light shunting in depots, on sidings and at stations. Meeting the gauge for special tracks also allows it to be operated in metro tunnels. The simple design of the vehicle was chosen with regard to the lowest possible purchase price and subsequent operating costs.

HybridShunter 400 reacts to the current trends in the design of shunting locomotives. The plug-in hybrid drive primarily uses a traction battery. Backup charging is then provided by an additional diesel engine. The advantage of this model is minimal noise and zero emissions at its place of operation. This will be appreciated by operators especially in urban agglomerations and closed halls.

EffiShunter 600 is design for medium-heavy shunting, especially on sidings. The design makes it suitable even for demanding conditions with increased ambient temperature and dust, which are typical for metallurgical operations. With an adjusted undercarriage fit, the locomotive can pass through curves with a minimum radius of up to 60 m. Alternatively, 2 motorizations can be added.

EffiShunter 1000 represents the pinnacle of the current development of CZ LOKO. It is designed both for operation on industrial sidings in the most demanding conditions and for line service. For these purposes, it may be equipped with ETCS. Approval according to the internationally recognized TSI certificate guarantees the maximum possible interoperability in the countries of the European Union.

The model designed primarily for heavy shunting on sidings and marshalling yards is EffiShunter 1600. If equipped with the appro-priate national train control system, it can also be operated in demanding line service. Ideal driving properties are guaranteed by the proven undercarriage of locomotive classes 770/771/S200 (1435 mm) or ČME3 (1520 mm). Other parts of the locomotive are newly designed according to the current trends.

Our options are unlimited. We can satisfy your needs in the field of vehicles designed for the construction, repair or reconstruction of railway infrastructure. An example is the universal motor truck used for railway infrastructure maintenance. We can supply compo-nents such as a snow blower or lawn mower. We can design a measuring car for diagnosing geometric parameters of tracks and rail defects.

MUV 74 M-S is equipped with a snow plough. This is utilized on the above-ground track sections of the Sofia Metro.

The future

DualShunter 2000 is a development continuation of the proven EffiShunter 1000. The unified platform of ES 1000 with an 895 kW diesel engine is also powered from a trolley wire, which gives the vehicle an output of 2000 kW on the traction system. The locomo-tive is thus more environmentally friendly and, in addition, the operator saves on traction diesel.

EffiLiner 2000 is the generational successor to the popular EffiLiner 1600, which has been discontinued. This locomotive designed for line service is equipped with ETCS guaranteeing the maximum possible interoperability in EU countries fully according to the TSI standard.

HybridShunter 1000 is another modification of EffiShunter 1000. The plug-in hybrid drive primarily uses a battery. Backup charging is then provided by a diesel engine.

DualLiner 2000 is an alternative to DualShunter 2000, purely for line service. It provides 2000 kW on the traction system and 1800 kW on the diesel engine.

Modernizations of Class 741.7 locomotives have become very popular. They have found their ap-plication in heavy mining and metallurgical operations or in the service of logistics centres. Two locomotives are used as a backup in the metro tunnel under Bosporus. Fifty of these machines are operated in the Czech Republic, Italy and Turkey.

EffiShunter 1000M was created on the basis of ČD Cargo’s demand for the modernization of fifty old ČKD Class 742 locomotives. For operation on corridor lines, the modernization also includes the installation of ETCS.

EffiLiner 3000 is a dual-system electric locomotive designed for line service in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

The EffiLiner 1600 line service locomotive follows the modernization of Class 753.7 “Brejlovec” locomotives. The main change from the original version is the new body, including the driver’s cabs with the elegant CZ LOKO design.

The Estonian carrier Operail uses C30-M for heavy line and shunting service on tracks with a track gauge of 1520 mm. The production takes place in the Operail workshops in Tapa under the supervision of our specialists. C30-M was created by a complex modernization of American locomotives GE C30.

CZ LOKO supplied the Latvian railways LDz with 14 two-piece 2M62UM locomotives, which have been used in heavy freight service. They feature powerful engines with an output of 2x 2,200 kW.

We are a strong and stable employer. We have vacancies from blue-collar professions to middle management. We build long-term cooperation with our employees and therefore expend considerable effort and financial resources to ensure a high-quality working environment and attractive conditions.

We have been investing in the construction of new and modernization of existing operations for a long time. In Jihlava, we are building a completely new assembly hall with a production area of 2,500 square metres. In Česká Třebová, there is a new hall for the repairs and production of electric rotating machines, a bogie shop with an engine shop or a locomotive testing facility.

We have been cooperating with schools in the regions for a long time, because we are aware that we can only become a leader in the field and further develop our technological and production know-how with the help of educated experts.

Together with the Jan Perner Transport Faculty of the Univer-sity of Pardubice, we work on many research projects, such as the development of a hybrid drive or a three-axle bogie for a track gauge of 1520 mm.

We helped the Higher Vocational School and Technical High School in Česká Tře-bová with the reconstruction of a lock-smith workshop. One of the main goals was to help the school attract more stu-dents to the technical fields of locksmith, electrical mechanic and electrician, which are important for us. Cooperation with the school continues also in other areas of teaching and practice.

In the CZ Trainee programme, we offer students of the last years of high schools and universities the opportunity to get to know CZ LOKO. We trust young people, we develop their skills and poten-tial in order for them to find what they are good at and what they will enjoy.

We support Czech education

We have entered into a long-term strategic partnership with one of the most successful teams of the Czech ice hockey history – HC Dukla Jihlava. The importance of our operation in Jihlava is significantly changing and increasing. We are thankful for the opportunity to connect the CZ LOKO brand with HC Dukla Jihlava and with the city of Jihlava.

The home arena of HC Dukla Jihlava is called CZ LOKO ARENA. Within a few years, a brand new multifunctional hall will be built here.
