Welcome! Today is the day! It is our annual Missions’ Sunday. If you are a guest here’s a quick primer on the genesis of this day. We want to do MUCH mission work. so we determined several years ago to take the total of one Sunday’s offering and put it ALL on mission work. That way we all got to help determine what we are doing mission work wise. I will mention that some money comes every year as a part of our year-end-offering and is used for additional work. BUT today we set the budget for the next year. Let’s make it super! Today we welcome another great new family to our Family. Matthew and Kelly Ruiz, and their three kids Malachi, Jacobi, and Channing. They come to us from Nashville. Matthew works at Lipscomb. Kelly is our own Cathy Swiercz’s daughter. Hunger. Come of down and help make it wonderful! Thanks to all who have already stepped up to help make this day a major impact for The Pantry and the many it serves. Of course, next Sunday is Mother’s Day. I hope you will obey God’s Word and honor your mom. We will have Muffins and Juice that morning for all who bring their mom’s with them. It should be special! Great stuff happening all around us. Let’s drink in all the good we can!

Upcoming Events.... Ladies Bible Class has finished their study for the summer. The class will resume in September.

College Students and Volunteer - Reveal Meal is June 3 after morning services. It will be a Mexican theme. Let Tonya know if you have decor she can use.

May 12 - Stamp Out Hunger!!!! A sign-up sheet will be on the back board for all positions. Please sign up!

Announcements SM has the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Guyana with Spring Hill COC. It is July 14-21. Steve Donahoo (Elder at Spring Hill) is coordinating the trip. They need people to help with VBS, teaching, etc. Greg Philpott has emailed some information.

LADIES: We may have some new members who don’t know about our SHARE group. Our SMCOC ladies have a Facebook group called SHARE (Sisters Helping, Asking, Rejoicing and Encouraging). It’s a closed group so only ladies in the group will see what is posted. Please contact Jan King (931-626-2145) if you would like to be added to the group.

MCC Camp: Still several openings for Week 1 and just a few for Week 2! After May 13 the cost goes to $200.00 and is up to directors discretion.

There is a MCC staff meeting today, May 6, at 2:00 at the Graymere Church of Christ. You will need to fill out a staff application and have a copy of your insurance card.

HORIZONS: There are NO spaces for girls at this time and less than 30 for boys. If you haven’t sent in the Parental Permission Form please do that ASAP. Garage Bible Study is on Mondays at 7pm!
