Virtue- is a good habit that helps us to act according to God’s love for us.

Vice- is a bad habit.

Two types of virtue1. Theological Virtues- are gifts from God that

helps bring us closer to him, and help us to want to be with him forever.

a. Three theological virtues are: faith, hope, and love.

2. Cardinal Virtues- guide our minds and actions to live a good life.

a. Four cardinal virtues are: prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance.

Theological Virtues:a. Faith- enable us to believe in God.- helps us to believe and accept all that God has said

and done.- helps us to believe that God is with us and acting in

our lives.

- enables us to trust in Jesus and in God’s promise to love us always.

- helps us to work to spread the kingdom of God here on earth, and to look forward to the kingdom in heaven.

c. Love- the greatest of all the virtues.- enables us to love God and our neighbors.

balance our use of material goods.
