With the tremendous renewed interest in draft horses and mules, our industry needs a di rectory of breeders for communication and market developrrent. As an educational service and requested by the newly fanned Virginia Draft Horse and Mule Association, the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service compiled and pu.blished this initial directory. A word of appreciation is noted for the excellent work t hat all county and city Extension units and volunteers did in surveying the owners to assemble this list. The list is not a complete one but is an excellent beginning. Changes and additions for future publication should be sent on to the Virginia Draft Horse & Mule Association. One copy of the directory is being sent to each Extension office for file records and one copy of the directory is being sent to all
