Day 1: Board your deluxe motorcoach this morning and travel to Lexington, VA, our home for the night. Check in at our hotel before dinner on your own at a nearby restaurant. Day 2: Enjoy a hot breakfast at the hotel to start our day. Check out of hotel and travel to Norfolk, VA where mid-day we arrive at the Nauticus Museum. Here you’ll enjoy lunch on your own in the café and free time to explore the exhibits, including the Hampton Roads Naval Museum showcasing 225 years of naval history. You will also have the opportunity to explore one of the most decorated battleships in our U.S. history, the USS Wisconsin! Depart and travel to Virginia Beach, and check in to our oceanfront hotel for the next two

nights. Take some time to enjoy a walk on the boardwalk, pier or explore the shops nearby before enjoying dinner at our hotel restaurant. (B, D) Day 3: After breakfast at the hotel we depart for Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Enjoy a drive over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, one of the most amazing engineering marvels of our time. Arrive to Cherrystone Aqua Farm in Cape Charles for a morning tour. Since 1895 the Ballard family has harvested clams and oysters on the eastern shore. Take a behind the scenes look at the 18-month journey from the tiny seed to the delicious delicacies, and view the lab,

packing facility and the aqua beds. Enjoy lunch on your own and some free time in the quaint waterfront village of Cape Charles, before returning to our hotel to enjoy the beachfront. Late afternoon we’ll depart for dinner on our own before traveling to the Scope Arena in Norfolk. Tonight we have tickets to the Virginia International Tattoo, one of our country’s most spectacular musical events. Thrill to the astounding display of inspirational military music, majestic pipes and drums, with show-stopping drill teams, dancers, choirs and much more. The 2020 Tattoo promises to be one of the most moving ever, marking the 75th anniversary of World War II, honoring the courage and sacrifices of our veterans who changed the course of history for the entire world! (B)

Day 4: Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll enjoy a leisurely morning for one more walk on the boardwalk and beachfront before we check out of the hotel and depart for Beckley, WV. Tonight we’ll visit Tamarack Welcome Center in Beckley for dinner included at the food court. Everyone will receive a voucher for your meal. The food is prepared by chefs from the fabulous Greenbrier Resort. Following dinner you’ll have time to explore the center and browse the large array of arts, crafts, furniture, glass, baskets and more, all made by artisans from West

Virginia. Depart back to the hotel for a good night’s rest. (B, D) Day 5: Breakfast will start our day and then check out of the hotel before our morning tour at the Exhibition Coal Mine Exhibit. You’ll learn the history of the West Virginia mining era and go below the earth’s surface to explore the former mine. Following our visit, we’ll depart for our remaining journey home, taking with us fond memories of Virginia Beach and the International Tattoo.
