beautiful Greyville Racecourse. With the

providing uninterrupted views of the race track,

and with an unobtrusive ‘Punters Corner’ for the

more discerning punter, The Silver Ring is the

perfect venue to enjoy Durban’s premier

sporting and social event.

The Silver Ring is situated on the second floor of

the Greyville Convention Centre overlooking the

home-straight of the racecourse. It is

conveniently located within a short walking

distance of the parade ring for those guests

wishing to view the horses before each race, and

to the hustle and bustle of the main grandstand.

Package 1 - The Silver Ring Shared Facility

R4000 + VAT pp

Individual guests or group bookings of less than 50 guests will be hosted in The Silver Ring

shared facility.

Package 2 - Private Lounge

R4200 + VAT pp

For group bookings of 50 guests or more, an exclusive, stanchioned lounge area will be set up

within The Silver Ring shared facility. Included in this package is:

Dining & Entertainment

The Silver Ring offers guests a dining

experience to excite the senses. Using

fresh and seasonal ingredients we will wow

guests with a delectable selection of

canapes followed by a substantial lunch

buffet, mouth-watering desserts, a

cheeseboard and an evening dinner buffet.

For the enjoyment of our guests, a full

complimentary bar service will operate

from 11am to 10pm. Bars will be stocked

with a variety of spirits, wines, sparkling

wines, beers, ciders, soft drinks and mixers.

Premium products including French

Champagne, aged spirits and shooters will

be available for purchase.

The Silver Ring will have live racing feeds

on plasma screens throughout the venue

for the duration of the event.

Background music will add to the vibrant

ambiance and from 5pm onwards, DJ

entertainment will have guests making

their way to the dance floor.
