Printing GuidelinesTest Don’t Guess...Always test the vinyl with the ink system for compatibility prior to production. Always wipe the vinyl down with a lint-free cloth to remove dust and other contaminants. Vinylefx films should be at room temperature prior to printing.

Printer temperature SettingsUse lower heat settings (35° - 45° C) to help prevent tunneling and edge curling. Using high temperatures during the heating process to cure inks can cause Vinylefx films to expand and contract on the release liner.

Cutting GuidelinesSign PlottersUse a new or sharp 45° cutting blade. Slow your cutting speed down on your plotter. Optimal cutting pressures vary depending on plotter manufacturer. We Recommend you do a cut and weed test. Cutting pressure is similar to that of a calendered vinyl.

Thermal DieThermal Die cut at heat settings between 295° and 300° F. at dwell times between ¼ and ½ second. Thermal die cut decals have slightly raised edges, which are prone to edge lifting. Edge sealing will provide additional protection.

Eco-Solvent & Solvent Printed GraphicsPlease note: Cut around your printed image leaving approximately a ¼ (6mm) border to minimize shrinking. The size of the border can be increased or decreased based on the image size and ink saturation. Always, test. Do Not Cut Into Printed Image. Heavy concentrations of ink, especially Eco-Solvent inks will contribute to shrinking and curling or vinyl.Vinylefx gives your designs a unique look that commands attention! An advantageous alternative or complement to plain vinyl for eye-catching signage, fleet graphics, window graphics, race car graphics, POP, exhibits and displays, decals and labels, and more!

Product Technical InformationDecorative SeriesDecorative Series Vinylefx offer indefinite indoor life with proper care and handling. The exterior life is 6 to 12 months. The use of a UV protective clear coat or PSA overlaminating film typically extends outdoor durability. Vinylefx Decorative Series is NOT warranted for exterior applications.

Outdoor Durable SeriesOutdoor Durable Vinylefx offer up to 5 years exterior life depending on environmental conditions, installation procedures and product suitability to the intended application. Durability may vary. Edge sealing is necessary for applications subject to demanding conditions, such as exposure to drastic weather or climate, marine or winter craft installations, etc. Edge sealing and applying a UV clear coat, or using a PSA UV overlaminating film provides added protection and enhances durability.
