RESIDENTIALThe project of an apartment at 1706 Rittenhouse in Phil-adelphia for elderly couple moving from suburbs to the city with a great collection of antiques. These pieces were succesfully blended with contemporary furnishings cre-ating unique eclectic interior. The design intent was to enhance their very different personalities through design where rectangular geometry (he) blends with softer forms (she). The inspiration for the project has been partially drawn from the interiors and furniture of Gerrit Rietveld and a work of Russian designer Serge-Edouard Frolov, who both use primary colors in their works. Another part of the inspiration is unique Moscow architecture.

Office for the company ECORIO, which develops and pro-duces plant-based sustainable eco-leather - a high quality substitute for natural leather. The design intent is to create a harmony between science and nature, letting them co-exist in this interior. The workplace has a friendly envi-ronment that expresses and promotes cruelty-free lifestyles through the use of natural vegan materials and a wel-coming warm-neutral palette with splashes of vivid but natural colors. It combines and contrasts the feeling of be-ing in the woods at warm summer morning with the pres-ence of science that is expressed in rectangular geometric forms. This concept enhances the green and cruelty-free image of the company. Lots of light and open space create an environment that is not only pleasant to work in, but also attractive to visitors. The irregularly shaped hexagon is a motif that has been incorporated throughout the space on various scales. Besides incorporating sustainable mate-rials, ergonomic furniture, and abundance of natural light, a healthy work environment is also supported by a yoga studio and vegetarian cafe serving healthy snacks.

Luxury Boutique hotel housed in the 1925 historic building is located at 600 S Washington Square in Philadelphia. The client’s main goal was to create a destination place that everyone wants to experience. The inspiration for the project has been partially drawn from the specific scene of the movie What Dreams May Come in which the world around the main character be-comes a living painting. Therefore, impressionist paint-ings distinguished by dynamic brush strokes were selected as the style choice for further inspiration. The design intent was to create a space that would let visitors feel as if they are a part of a painting. It has been achieved through the considerations of light, juxtaposition of different textures, and vivid contrast turquoise-deep red palette along with warm neutrals and touches of gold. The motif of a paint-ing frame has been incorporated on various scales.

Rejina is known for its astute cutting, exploration of geometric shapes and fusing relaxed proportions with fresh and quirky color combinations, evoking a paired back confidence. For her, fashion is absolutely an art from. The design intent was to create a dynamic space that looks like contemporary artwork that would attract the target consumer - stylish young women interested in modern art. The inspiration has been drawn from one of Rejina’s gar-ments that matches bright colored irregular rectangular shapes and a grid. The idea was to bring this pattern from two-dimensional to three-dimensional environment. This interior represent unique Rejina’s style and serves as a great showcase for her collections of clothing and accessories.

Conceptual project of the repository for the collection of minerals. The design was inspired by the objects dis-played. Among different types of minerals, those that share similar structure were selected for the museum. Their main shared quality is that they all consist of flat surfaces. With that in mind, the component piece has been developed and incorporated in the space at a slightly different scale. The circulation and the placement of objects were the main design challenges that were addressed and solved in this project.

The main goal was to develop a component piece that can be used to produce a three-dimensional object by multiplying, stacking and attaching. The final model was lasercut from white bristol and glued together.

FURNITUREThe concept of this bookcase explores the idea of a new life of an object. In that case the idea is that regular book-shelf was teared down in pieces and then reassembled but in a new unexpected shape and by utilizing unusual for the furniture method of assembly - stitching. The result is an object with the same function, but completely different look. One side of this bookcase can be folded in order to save space. Only two materials are used: 1/4” thick sanded and waxed plywood and 1/8” thick red Nylon Paracord rope.
