1 Is there a time frame for the painting to be completed?

All painting must be completed before October 1, 2016.

2What rooms will be available to paint and when?

Once the contract is awarded, NJDOT will determine which rooms will be available to paint on each weekend.

3What days can the vendors paint? Contractors can paint on Friday evenings

from 4:00 pm – 12:00 midnight and Saturday from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm ONLY.

There are two men’s rooms and one ladies room that are wallpapered. Are the vendors painting over the wallpaper or is it going to be removed before painting?

Contractors will NOT be responsible for painting the two men’s restrooms and one ladies restroom. Bidders shall not include these rooms in their price quote.

5What color paint is to be used for the stairs?

There is a handrail in stairwell #119 and one in stairwell #125, also one door in stairwell area #119 leading into room #127 that is not on the plans but needs to be painted. What color paint?

The hand rails and doors will be painted Moroccan Brown SW6060.
