Sleep-Over Fun Over half of the places have now gone for the sleep-over so if your child would like to be involved, please let us know in school. All the money raised goes straight back into the school. One of the ways in which it helps us has been demonstrated this week. We have just spent over £500 on sports equipment for the children to use during the summer months, equipment we would not be able to afford without this event.

Tuck Shop Thanks I checked the food on offer at the tuck shop this week and I have to say there was so much choice. BIG thanks go to Mrs McGuire who shops in her own time for school food. There were bags of grapes and strawberries she had made up at home for the children too. This is in addition to the other fruit, cheese, breadsticks, water etc. Many thanks once again.

Pictured above are some of our Year 5 children enjoying some tennis coaching recently.

Ear piercing Can we remind all parents that children must be able to remove their studs from their ears in order to do PE/Sport and lunchtime clubs too. This is designed to prevent accidents to children. If you are thinking of allowing your child to have their ears pierced, the start of the six week holiday is a really good time as studs can then be removed for sport.

Year 6 SATs Well done to all our Year 6 children who took their national tests this week; they all behaved very maturely in what was a very difficult situation for them. Thank you to all our parents for supporting the children and us so well. The results are usually available before the summer holiday. Thank you also to all the staff who helped support our children.

FootballWell done to our Football team for winning 6-3 in a fantastic match at St Andrew’s Junior School yesterday.
