3. Paste the ‘Galaxy X-Ray’ image onto the background on a new layer and change the blending mode to ‘Overlay’.

4. Select your eraser tool with a soft brush at the size of 1000 and remove the distinct edges of the ‘Galaxy X-Ray’ image. After doing this, create a new group and name it ‘Space Cat’.

5. Use your quick selection tool to cut the cat from the background, hold down Alt and click on any bits that you accidentally select. Adjust the hue and saturation slightly to give the cat a reddish tinge.

6. Get the ‘Space Cat Helmet’ image and cut out the existing cat using the quick selection tool.Then paste the helmet into the ‘Space Cat’ group and move around to your liking.

7. Get your ‘Reflective Ball’ image and use the quick selection tool to cut it out of the background. Then paste it above the ‘Cat’ layer but below the ‘Helmet’ layer and remove any excess pieces above the helmet.

8. Change the opacity of the ‘Reflective’ layer to 61% and use a soft eraser brush on the edges of the ‘Cat’ layer to blend it in.
