Apply online using the ApplyTexas Application at ApplyTexas.org.

Submit your $50 application fee by credit card on the ApplyTexas web-site or mail a check or money order to the Office of Admissions.

Visit uh.edu/admissions/apply for more details about freshman, transfer, and international admission.

Ask your high school registrar to send your transcript (electroni-cally or in a sealed envelope) to UH. Fax and photocopies are not accepted.

Send official SAT or ACT scores directly to UH from the testing agency. Scores can also be sent through The College Board (code 6870) or ACT (code 4236). Official test scores must have been taken within the last five years.

Send updated official transcripts from all colleges and institutions previously attended. Electronic transcripts are strongly encouraged.

Students transferring to UH with college credits earned while in high school and those with less than 15 earned post high school graduation need to submit official SAT or ACT scores along with an official copy of their final high school transcript.

UHin4UHin4 provides a comprehensive plan for on-time graduation in four years for incoming freshmen and select transfer students. You’ll receive academic maps and be offered fixed tuition rates to help you achieve your academic goals. Read more about this program at uh.edu/provost/UHin4.

SCHOLARSHIPSIncoming students receive over $12 million in scholarship funds. To be eligible for scholarships, please apply for freshman admission by December 1 or transfer admission by March 1.

FINANCIAL AIDTo apply for federal financial aid, file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov (school code: 003652). The priority submission deadline is March 15. Our helpful and knowledgeable financial aid staff can help you pursue these options:
