1. TECHNICAL PROPOSAL

1.2. BRIEF INTRODUCTIONPACKAGER have prepared this budgetary proposal for the supply of a refurbished & warranted Frame 5 Gas Turbine Generator Package (GTG).PACKAGER have recently completed the remanufacture and sale of 2 x Frame 6B (50Hz) GTG packages, however, the original buyer is interested to re-sell.PACKAGER can provide two overhaul options for GTG packages that have not yet entered the refurbishment process:1. Supply of units utilizing all new components2. Supply of units utilizing refurbished componentsBoth options will be fully covered by PACKAGER warranty

3. OPTIONAL SCOPE OF WORK

3.1. Major InspectionScope covers the services and consumables necessary to carry out a Flange to Flange inspection of the Gas Turbine.

3.2. Compressor Rotor RefurbishmentScope covers the refurbishment of the Turbine Compressor Rotor including re-blading using new parts.

3.3. Compressor Stator RefurbishmentScope covers stator re-blading and replacement of IGVs using new parts.

3.4. Control SystemThe control system retrofit covers new Sentinel Turbine Control, Generator Control Panel inclusive of AVR, Protection and Synchronizing equipment.

3.5. Refurbishment of the following Capital parts:

4. COMMERCIAL PROPOSAL

4.1 PRICE SCHEDULE

I Base Cost of GT Package as-is-where-is condition US $ 2,300,000.00

II Optional Items: US $ 1,435,000.00GT Major Inspection – Flange to Flange including consumables US $ 390,000.00Compressor Rotor Refurbishment and re-blading US $ 165,000.00Compressor Stator re-blading and replacement of IGV US $ 295,000.00Control System Retrofit including Turbine Control Panel, GeneratorControl and Protection Panel and Synchronizing US $ 345,000.00Refurbishment of capital parts – see note 1. US $ 240,000.00Total (I+II) – Warranty will only apply to the Gas Turbine and not the complete GTG package. US $ 3,735,000.00

III Offer for one (1) FS5 Zero Hr. GTG package with warranted components and new control systems. – Warranty will apply to the complete GTG package. US $ 7,550,000.00

NOTE 1: this option is subject to detailed inspection & parts being repairable when the GT is stripped. If new parts are later required an additional charge will be incurred.

4.2 INVOICE AND PAYMENT

Note:Settlement of invoices shall be done within a maximum period of 2 months from issuance otherwise PACKAGER reserve the right to terminate the contract.

4.3 VALIDITY

This quotation is valid for 30 days from date of submission and subject to prior sale.

4.4 DELIVERYThe period required for the delivery from receipt of confirmed and irrevocable Letter of Credit for all materials and goods. All materials will be supplied Ex-Works Dubai in accordance with INCOTERMS 2000.Item I: 2 WeeksItem II: 20 Weeks

4.5 TERMS AND CONDITION

4.6 WARRANTY – APPLICABLE TO ITEMS II AND III OF PRICE SCHEDULE ONLYSubject to the conditions set out below PACKAGER warrants that:

(a) The Services will be carried out according to Good Industry Practice(b) The Spare Parts supplied shall be fit for their purpose.PACKAGER’s standard warranty applies for workmanship and parts supply which shall be 12 months or 8000 equivalent operating hours, whichever is the earliest. If during this period it is found that components/equipment or services provided by PACKAGER are defective then PACKAGER shall, at its cost, make good, by repair or replacement all such defects which are found, develop or become apparent in the Spare Parts supplied or as a result of the performance of the Services during the Defects Liability Period.

The above warranty is given by PACKAGER subject to the following conditions:(a) Normal wear and tear shall be excluded from the warranty:(b) The Customer receipt, handling, storage, operation and maintenance during any storage, operation and maintenance shall be in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer specifications and recommendations:(c) Any negligence or willful damage by the Customer to the warranted items shall be excluded from the warranty:(d) Any part of the Equipment which is operated or maintained by CUSTOMER in abnormal working conditions shall be fully exempt from the warranty to the extent that such operation or maintenance has in fact affected the warranted Spare Part:(e) The warranty shall not apply where CUSTOMER has failed to follow OEM recommendations to the extent that such failure has in fact affected the warranted items.(f) The Spare Part shall not have been subject to misuse or alteration or repair without PACKAGER approval.(g) PACKAGER obligations are subject to PACKAGER being given notice by CUSTOMER as soon as practicable on it actually becoming aware of the appearance or occurrence of a defect or damage arising from a defect and a reasonable opportunity to investigate and rectify it.

• Expenses incurred by the purchaser or their representatives• Third party inspection• Distributed plant control system• Black start genset• Earthing, cathodic protection and lightning protection• Grid failure detection equipment• External lighting• Site fire protection system• Water supply and treatment• Factory load testing and field performance testing• Paper-based documentation• Rack for batteries• Any item or service not clearly indicated in this Proposal
