The Government of Chhattisgarhknown as theState Government of Chhattisgarh.

Government of Chhattisgarh is the supreme governing authority of theIndian state ofChhattisgarh and its27 districts

For improving the road connectivity along key corridors in the state of Chhattisgarh, Union Government and Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed an agreement on 26 February 2014 for a 300 million US dollar loan.

The main objective of the project is to improve more than 900 kilometers of State roads.

BHEL is an integrated power plant equipment manufacturer founded in 1964. It has been a partner in the power development programmed with the Chhattisgarh Govt.

This is the second unit of 2 600 MW power project, commissioned by BHEL.

The first 600 MW Unit was commissioned in 2014.As per BHEL, its cumulative installed capacity now stands at 11400 MW in the state.

Chhattisgarh Road Master Plan involves the up gradation of roads sections and strengthening culverts and bridges.

Chhattisgarh Road Master Plan also has some components to build the capacity of the road agency in contract and project management so as to introduce a proper road asset management system in the state which will further improve planning for better road maintenance.

To cover the estimated total project cost of 428 million dollar, the Chhattisgarh Govt. will provide counterpart finance of about 128 million US dollar.

The BJP-ruled Chhattisgarh government has made it mandatory for its employees those who all are living in rural areas to have toilets at their houses in order to spread awareness about hygiene in remote areas.

It is compulsory for government officials/employees posted in rural areas to build toilets in their homes and use the same.
