ITI Limited

Trimax IT Infrastructure & Services Limited is operating and managing a Tier-III Plus state-of-the-art Data Center facility that is spread across 1,20,000 Sq.Ft in a secure premises of ITI Limited in Bangalore. The Data Center is solely established by Trimax in a revenue sharing model with ITI Limited and is the only data center built under Public Private Partnership Model. Standards Opted to Build the Data Center

The state of the art Trimax Data center is built as Tier III facility meeting the TIA-942 standards. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)

Trimax is the PAN India partner of BSNL for offering Managed Network Services from their ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 Certified Network Operations Centre (NOC) running from Mumbai and Bangalore. In this project BSNL provides the bandwidth and Trimax provides the customer premises equipment (Router, Modem, Converter, etc) and manages the equipment and the last mile connectivity on a rental Model for the customers. Trimax also is the single point of contact for all the support issues for the customers. Trimax has done Wide Area Networking and Implemented Video Conferencing Solution for CGDA along with BSNL. Trimax has also doing Link Implementation and Management of 4000 links of Central Bank of India for all their branches across India.

Trimax’ Understanding of Requirement:

i. To enable video communication between Corporate Head Office and 28 Regional

Offices.

ii. Integrated solution for 8 Personal Meeting Rooms (GM cabins) and 3 Board rooms at

Head Office.

iii. To provide high definition (1080p/720p at 30/60 frames per sec) like solution for all

the locations.

iv. The solution should support roaming users and they should be able to participate in

the conference with Board rooms and Personal meeting rooms.

v. To enable video communication via ISDN network via direct internet cloud.

vi. To provide the AV solution for 3 Boardrooms at Head office.



Solution Proposed: Solution is offered along with end to end maintenance. The high level architecture of the same is

shown below.

The hardware based solution proposed includes Tandberg C20 endpoints at 28 Regional

offices and Boardrooms at Head office with 12X or 4X camera zoom capability based on

actual conference room architecture. Tandberg Ex60 endpoint or MX 200 is proposed for

the personal meeting room requirement which will be deployed at the GM’s cabin’ at

Head offices. Both Board room and Personal meeting room would be able to be part of a

conference. A 40 port MCU (Multi Conferencing Unit) would be placed in central data

center in Head office. Maximum 20 users would be able to be part of a conference. All

the endpoints would be able to link using existing MPLS infrastructure.

Apart from hardware endpoints, 30 licenses for roaming users will be provided so that

such users can also be the part of conference from home or some remote locations. The

proposed solution also includes the ISDN gateway; so that call for conference from

Ministry can be addressed using the existing PRI’s available.

The MCU box will be enabled with the specific license so that call with external users can

be made and received via Internet using the public IP.



Based on the details of the conference rooms and training rooms provided 80% will be

deployed with 40’ inch LCD displays, 15% with 46’ inch displays, and 5% with 55’ inch

displays LCD display. In case of Displays; Samsung and LG are the most reliable brands

and based on market share and cost effectiveness we would like to propose to go

forward with Samsung for displays (Product codes: 400DX-3, 460DX-3, 550DX)

Incase NIA decides to increase the total number of endpoints in a single conference,

additional MCU can be cascaded accordingly.

Bandwidth Required: For 1080p: Head office – 60 Mbps Regional Offices – 2 Mbps each For 720p: Head office – 48 Mbps Regional Offices –1 Mbps each

Various scences can be created with the help of the Lighting Control System. The Conference room requires different Lighting set up to suit the Room for various application.

For Eg:- The Light Scene required for the Video Conferencing purpose is different from the Light Scene required for the Presentation.

Centralised Automation

To provide a centralised touch panel based wireless Control for all the all the equipments in the conference room we suggest a Control Processor.

Either an Android based or an IOS based Touch panel can be used for the control purpose.

For Eg:- The touch panel will hold icons like Video Conferencing, Presentation and Movie.

Once you select the Video Conferencing option- The Project will turn ON, automatically the lights will adjust into a scene that will provide more focus on the table and the participants. The VC unit will turn ON and will be ready to make the call. The call can also be placed from the Touch panel.

HD Technology

As the Display Technology is moving towards the High Definition resolution we have suggested a solution that is completely HD compatible.

RGB Spectum Dual View RGB Spectrum is a Real Time Multi Window viewing graphic processor. Dual View provides 2 channels for input in the Composite, S Video and DVI format. Thus 2 windows of videos can be seen on a single screen.

The size of these windows can be adjusted dynamically and can be placed anywhere on the screen. Dual View comes with an in-built scaler hence the output can be viewed in HD format.
