Victory Park is home to over 1,000 residences, 620,000 square
feet of office space, the W Dallas-Victory Hotel, and street-front
retailers and restaurants. Also located within Victory Park is the
American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas
Stars, House of Blues, and Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
Residents and tenants are within walking distance of the Katy Trail,
a 3.5-mile walking, jogging and bike path, the DART commuter rail
and the Trinity Rail Express, connecting Victory Park to other parts
of Dallas, Fort Worth, and beginning in 2014, Dallas-Fort Worth
International Airport
Stantec Boulder is leading a collaboration with RTKL and Halff
Associates. The team was retained by Trademark Properties, Estein
& Associates, Cushman & Wakefield and City of Dallas, to reposition
the whole Victory Park District, public areas, amenities and retail.
Stantec Boulder created a strategy for this urban entertainment and
sports district to provide better pedestrian connectivity, a sense of
place through a program of environmental graphics and wayfinding
that included iconic interactive district marker that celebrates the
local teams.
Additionally a new landscape and hardscape program was intro-
duced, as a new retail strategy for all existing and new storefronts
facing Victory Park Lane.
The reposition as spurred a development frenzy including a 700
seats- 8 screen movie theatre, a new 25 story office tower, a 1,500
new residential units in several high-rise towers, new leases for retail
storefronts historically empty and 10 new restaurants
