The Astra VICTOR luminaire is specifically designed for use in cleanrooms and clean areas such as in the pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Life Sciences and healthcare industries.

One of a kind, the VICTOR luminaires outstanding performance surpasses all the key criteria for the most sensitive of cleanrooms. Easy to clean, with concealed front frame fixings and minimal crevices, high efficiency LED technology for superior energy savings. Optional access panels provide access via the luminaire to the ceiling void.

Constuction

With a ridged, fully welded construction the VICTOR luminaire is manufactured from corrosion resistant steel with a durable Ral 9003 epoxy powder coat finish.

Designed to provide a flush finish with the ceiling, the VICTOR luminaire is easy to clean with concealed front frame fixings and minimal crevices which is an essential requirement for sterile environments.

An access panel within the luminaire with quick release fasteners provides access to the ceiling void, avoiding the need of additional access hatches in the ceiling.

Installation is both quick and simple, utilising fully adjustable side arm brackets and quarter-turn fasteners to keep installation and maintenance time to a minimum. All LED luminaires are available with plug & play wiring options.

Concealed Fixing

The concealed front frame fixings provide a smooth, easy-to-clean surface with minimal crevices which is an essential requirement for sterile environments.

Side Arm Brackets

Utilising side arm suspension brackets which are fully adjustable from within the sealed luminaire, our unique self-tensioning bracket automatically swings into position and provides a secure, mechanical fixing. Once adjusted, the fixing hole is tightly capped to maintain both the IP rating and integrity of the cleanroom.

Access Panel

The access panel, within the luminaire with quick release fasteners provides access to the ceiling void, avoiding the need for additional access hatches in the ceiling. With a hinged gear tray, it is both quick and simple to gain access to the ceiling void. With the access panel removing to the room side, the required void clearance is kept to a minimum.

Anti-bacterial Coating

Anti-bacterial powder coatings provide an active biocidal system based on silver, which is effective against major strains of bacteria. This provides long term protection against bacterial growth and is shown to exhibit zero growth for fungi and moulds. The coating delivers a constant and controlled release of Silver ions which remain active for periods in excess of 10 years. The active Silver ions penetrate the bacteria cell walls disrupting the cell and inhibiting bacterial growth.

How Anti-bacterial works

Chemical Resistant Coating

For areas where aggressive cleaning and sterilisation chemicals such as VHP (vaporised hydrogen peroxide) are used, we can provide a specialist highly durable coating which is suitable for such environments.

The VICTOR luminaire is also available in 304/316 stainless steel.

Optical Options

TP(a) fire rated opal diffusers are standard specification including the option for toughened glass for areas that require chemical protection.

UV Protection

The C20 UV safety film provides protection up to 400 nanometers.

The LY5 UV safety film contains a specially coated light yellow ultra violet absorbing filter, safe up to 470 nanometers. Designed for higher UV-sensitive materials and locations but giving utmost brightness.

The G10 UV safety film provides protection up to 520 nanometers and is designed for applications such as plate making and circuit board manufacturing.

The three key elements to effective LED performance are the LED, its driver and optimised thermal management.Our combination of world class LEDs, high light transmission diffusers and enhanced optical reflectors have resulted in a luminaire with exceptional performance, providing substantial energy savings when compared to other light sources.

The benefits of LED VICTOR luminaires are:
