Find a Target Market
• What is the core value that you’re producing? E.g. to make it easier to form a healthy habit
• What is the pain that they are experiencing? E.g. They have to track some things in a diary. They stop using their wearable device within a month. They don’t have the knowledge of health to achieve their goal on their own
• How can my idea or technology solve that pain?
Design is crucial
• Incredibly important in health & fitness • People demand good experiences • The harder it is to use, the fewer people will use it
• Tracking is by nature hard. Make it as simple as possible
Customer Profiling
• List the types of people that would use your product
• Give them a face and name • List their needs & how they would each use it • Compare how your product stacks up for each need
