1 Well this is a first for me, not much to talk about this month!! I think everyone is cursing the rain, but then again it has given us all some very much needed family time instead of the usual four legged obsessive minds that we are all renowned for. Although just around the corner is our Annual Showjumping Day, so the sooner it dries up the better. Committee members are looking forward to the MADEC Showjumping day coming up on the 1 st September, but are still looking for helpers on the day and for the Friday to help set up. If you can offer your assistance could you please contact Kerryn asap. The only competition this month to report on is the Benalla Showjumping Day, we had a great turn out for this event, and some fabulous results, all will be revealed inside. Our new Showjumping poles have arrived. YAY!! The plan is to paint them at our August rally due to the lack of a dry paddock. Parkseeds is the venue and Poss our trusted Veterinarian is going to be with us to educate everyone a little more on how to first aid your horse in an emergency the Do’s and Don’ts and give you guidance when and if you and your horse get into difficult situations. Good luck to all of our members heading into the new competition season after a break. TTT Showjumping is not far away either and our teams have been selected. This event will be held in Shepparton, so not far away, if any members would like to attend the event, just contact someone who is heading over on the team and they would quite happily take you over. Well this is a first for me, not much to talk about this month!! I think

everyone is cursing the rain, but then again it has given us all some very

much needed family time instead of the usual four legged obsessive

minds that we are all renowned for. Although just around the corner is

our Annual Showjumping Day, so the sooner it dries up the better.

Committee members are looking forward to the MADEC Showjumping

day coming up on the 1st September, but are still looking for helpers on

the day and for the Friday to help set up. If you can offer your assistance

could you please contact Kerryn asap.

The only competition this month to report on is the Benalla

Showjumping Day, we had a great turn out for this event, and some

fabulous results, all will be revealed inside.

Our new Showjumping poles have arrived. YAY!! The plan is to paint

them at our August rally due to the lack of a dry paddock. Parkseeds is

the venue and Poss our trusted Veterinarian is going to be with us to

educate everyone a little more on how to first aid your horse in an

emergency the Do’s and Don’ts and give you guidance when and if you

and your horse get into difficult situations.

Good luck to all of our members heading into the new competition

season after a break. TTT Showjumping is not far away either and our

teams have been selected. This event will be held in Shepparton, so not

far away, if any members would like to attend the event, just contact

someone who is heading over on the team and they would quite

happily take you over.

Bandit and Julie won the AM7, equal 1st place; and 2nd in the Phase 2.

Julie commented, “I'm so enjoying riding again after Bandit being out for two

months with his eye injury. Now I'll have to try and get some SJ level 3

practice in before the TTT SJ...be interesting how we cope with a whole round

of higher SJ, but I am excited with the challenge as I know Bandit is able to

jump the height.” Well done Julie, the whole club is behind you and Bandit for

TTT.

With special thanks to Robyn

Reed from for the wonderful photo’s

A number of our members competed at the Benalla & District Adult Riding Club’s official showjumping day early in July. Benalla received fantastic entries and had to run two rings to get through them all.

Results: 2 Phase

Level 2 – Maddie Allan riding Southgate June 3rd, Jane Parks riding Parkview Irish Lily unplaced Level 3 – Perrin Gooding riding Laredo Lad unplaced

Level 4 – Julie King riding Runaway Bandit 2nd , Anette Allan riding Gorserella Matilla unplaced Level 5 – Kerryn Gooding riding Storm Haven 4th

2 Round Championship Level 2 – Maddie Allan riding Southgate June 6th, Jane Parks riding Parkview Irish Lily unplaced

Level 3 – Perrin Gooding riding Laredo Lad unplaced Level 4 – Julie King riding Runaway Bandit 1st, Anette Allan riding Gorserella Matilla 7th

A fantastic effort by all but especially Julie and Bandit who have now pointed up to Level 3. Look out TTT!

We have too many show jump poles and need to make room for the new, lighter poles. This auction will continue until 3:00pm on Friday 17th August 2012. You will be notified if you have the winning bid. All poles must be collected from the MADEC shed on Saturday 18th August between 9am and 10am.

If you cannot collect them you will need to make arrangements for them to be collected as we have to clear the shed to put the jumps trailer back. Hover your mouse over each photo for it's pack number and description

Looking for a quite and healthy buddy to keep Buck company.

Needs to be OK to be left at home alone when Buck goes out to competitions/

lessons etc and a good doer that doesn't require much attention.

Considering everything from a Shetland to a Clydesdale! I don't really want a

loan horse I would prefer something free to a good home or cheap to buy.

Call Kirsten on 0408 179 729 or email [email protected]
