Medication Policy The parent/guardian is required to daily hand deliver any and all medications to the camp staff; please do not have it delivered by your child. Only a single days dose in the original container with the childs name, name of the physician and directions for administering on the printed label, will be accepted by camp staff. Check with the Camp Director for additional paperwork that is needed. This is very important! We have been working very hard to make this summers program very exciting. Your children will be enjoying games, art projects, sports, special activities, guest speakers and trips. To make sure campers are prepared to enjoy activities, please refer to the weekly calendars. We would also like you to review the reminders below: PLEASE mark all articles with your child's name (lunch boxes, clothing, towels, water bottles, etc.). Children should wear closed toe shoes to camp to prevent injuries. Campers need to wear camp T-shirts on trip days and arrive by 9 a.m. Please bring sunscreen, a swim suit and a towel on splash park and swimming days. Free lunch and snack will be available to each camper through the Lee County School Boards Free Lunch and Snack Program. Children may also bring their own lunch if preferred (microwaves will not be available). Vending machines will not be available to campers during camp. This helps to prevent lost or stolen money reports to office staff. Please park your vehicle in a designated parking space when dropping off or picking up your children. Parents MUST come in to sign campers in and out. Please be prepared to show ID. No camper will be released to anyone who is not authorized on the supplemental sheet filled out by parent or guardian. We are not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen property. There are phones on site. Children will be allowed to call their parents only when necessary. Electronics, such as cell phones, Nintendo DS, PSP and IPOD are not allowed. Good behavior is expected and children are not allowed to hit/hurt other campers or become disrespectful to any staff members. Veterans Park Summer Camp has a zero-tolerance behavior policy. We appreciate you taking the time to review these reminders and helping us make this a great summer. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Camp hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Do not bring campers prior to 7:30 a.m. and they must be picked up by 6 p.m.

All Campers MUST provide their lunches and snacks this week. Free Lunch and Snack Program ended on July 27th.

Groups rotate throughout the day to different locations for indoor and outdoor activities.

WATER BOTTLE IS REQUIRED.
