• Tertiary vocational education (Fagskolen) is a nonuniversity, shorter education of maximum 2 years duration, which is based on upper secondary school education.

Its primarily, but not exclusively, an education for students with a VET-certificate (Vocational Education and Training).

Approved navigation courses which meet both IMO and Norwegian Maritime Directorate standards.
