Kerr Pump’s 5180 vertical pumps are designed for industrial applications for metal cleaning, parts cleaning, coolant flush, and filtration systems. They are assembled with standard industry TC frame motors, 304 stainless formed casings, 304 stainless high-efficiency enclosed impeller, 1%in. diameter 316 stainless shafts, lower bearing of carbon graphite or cutlass rubber, standard 20-in. steel or stainless column, and a split cover plate allowing adjustable pump setting. Other exten- sions are also available.

SUBMERSIBLE PUMP

BJM Corp.‘s Model JX4OOSS is a 2-in. side-dis- charge, l/2-hp, precision-cast 316 stainless steel submersible pump. The pump has a maximum output of 66 gpm or a head of 39 ft. Material of construction is 316 stainless steel with Viton elas- tomers. Double-silicon carbide mechanical seals with outside Viton lip seal and thermal breaker protect the motor. Larger horsepower pumps up to 10 hp are available.

Stainless steel in-tank systems circulate and/or filter solutions that damage plastic. These include high-temperature alkaline cleaners, postanodize seal tanks over 200”F, caustic chemical strippers, and permanganate baths for printed circuits. New design reduces pump weight and price. Flow rates range from 400 to 12,000 gph. The solution never leaves the tank, eliminating in-tank system leaks and spills.
