Not that bad for an idiot isnt’t it? So yeah, here is issue 12, 24 and 36 as well (By the way, Versus #45 is almost out too... yeah whatever...); Hey what time is it in your world?! “Euh?...” Naaah wrong answer, it’s NOW you idiot! And this is all about... PASSION! Alright, so, I did waste enough time already, this opus is like what, 3 years late or something? Anyway, thank you all guys. You know who you are. I actually never went to photo-class, or anything similar. It must had been around early 1998, me & my brother just started skateboarding, and all I wanted was to live as similar & close to what I saw & read every month in mags like Thrasher, TWS and Monster.So it was all natural to get a photocamera and shoot. From then on, the photocamera became my regular accompanist (next to all kind of video & filmcameras).Tons of skateboard-tricks all over the world, nice places & people got fixed by my lense. After all those years and pictures I started to realize how skateboarding indeed influences my whole way of looking at the world.Often people look strange at the camera-position on my filmsets: so low?The streets and the point-of-view of a skateboard have hardly fored my work, even though the subject may has nothing to do with skateboarding!Welcome to my world...

Ich besuchte nie einen Photokurs oder ähnliches. Alles muss anfang 1998 damit begonnen haben, dass mein Bruder & ich zu skaten begannen, und versuchten so gut wie möglich das Leben in den Skate-Mags nachzuempfinden.Es schien völlig natürlich sich eine Photo-kamera zu schnappen, und loss zu schiessen. Die Freunde, und ihre Tricks waren erste Motive. Von da an wurde die Photokamera zu einer (fast) ständigen Begleitung (neben den Video & Filmkameras).Unzählige Sprünge, Gesichter, Städte, Landschaften und anderes wurde seit damals durch die Linse fetgehalten. In den letzten Jahren wurde mir bewusst, wie das Skateboard meine Art & Weise die Welt zu betrachten beeinflusst hat.Oftmals schauen mich die Leute auf einem Filmset verwundert an, wenn ich die Kamrea schön auf Kniehöhe haben will.Die Strasse und der Blickwinkel des Skateboards haben mich stark geprägt, auch wenn das Sujet heute oft ein anderes ist!Willkomen in meiner Welt...
