VersaMagic Project #1- Warbler Card

Project DirectionsStep 1 Stamp the blocks from “The Love Chapter” stamp set in the colors shown to create your background pattern on your natural cardstock piece.

Step 2 Next you will add color to your paper edges with the Sponge Daubers. Add some Turquoise Gem to your Sponge Dauber, wipe a little excess ink off onto a scratch piece of paper, then apply to the bottom edge under your stamped wording. Sponge Jumbo Java to the sides and top of this piece, and then Aloe Vera onto the front side of your white cardstock card.

Paper white cardstock cut to 41/4 x 11 inches, scored in half; natural colored cardstockcut to 33/4 x 53/8 inches (optional to edge with a decorative punch); teal cardstock(to match VersaMagic Turquoise Gem color) cut to 4 x 4

Step 3 Stamp “Warbler” two times- once onto your teal cardstock, and then once onto your cream cardstock piece. Cut out bird on teal cardstock piece and then adhere to your cream cardstock piece using the stamped image as your guide. Adhere completed cream cardstock piece to your white card.

Whatʼs a Warbler? You might be wondering how this project got itʼs name... itʼs the type of bird shown on the stamp used in this project! A Warbler is a small New World songbird of the family Parulidae, many of which have brightly colored plumage or markings. Warbler is also the name of the high school singing group in the television show “Glee.”
