• Budget of at least $100,000 and one or more full-time staff

• Participate in March 20 Vermont Nonprofit Conference• Sign up at bbvt.marlboro.edu beginning Wed., March

PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE SELECTION CRITERIA

• Vermont nonprofit with annual operating budget under $2.5 million (some spaces reserved for those with budgets under $1 million) - organizations with a fiscal agent qualify if they have their own budget and board

• Community and statewide coalitions are eligible to apply

PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE SELECTION CRITERIA

• Participation in the March 20 Vermont Nonprofit Conference 2012

• Submission of Performance Institute Application

• Organizational readiness, as determined by CCAT scores (score of 190 or above on three of the four capacity areas), Performance Institute application responses, and interview for finalists

• Commitment of 2-3 organizational leaders to fully participate in Performance Institute activities (board members encouraged to participate)

–Healthy futures - Services such as access to health care, disease prevention and health promotion initiatives, and health literacy.

–Education - Services that help children and youth achieve success in school and increase high school graduation rates.

• Conferences - Kick-off Conference June 12-13 1-day Conference - January 2013 Final Conference - Summer 2013

• Cohort-level networks - 25 hours of trainer-facilitated community learning and peers support, both face-to-face and online

• Individual TA to organization teams - 20 hours of in-house, telephone and email TA

• PLUS: Additional organizational team work throughout the Performance Institute.
