DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 350 degree oven 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (one stick) 1/2 cup cocoa powder (brown can) 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar 1 tsp. instant coffee granules (optional) 1/4 cup white sugar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 2 large eggs 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips 1-1/2 cup all purpose flour HINT: The above recipe makes only about 2 dozen, so I doubled it! Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or silpat mat. Cream butter, Sugars, and vanilla with mixer until smooth. Add eggs and mix until just combined. Add flour, cocoa powder, instant coffee, baking soda and salt and mix until just combined. Don't over mix. Fold in chocolate chips. Place heaping 2 tablespoons (I used medium scooper) on cookie sheet about 1" apart. Bake for 10 - 12ish minutes or until cookies are set. Cool on wire rack. HINT: These are super yummy when warm just out of the over. But, after they are cooled and you want a treat.......simply zap one in the microwave for 5 seconds and they have the "just out of the oven" yumminess.

Thank you Sharon Thompson for this recipe!

Rescue Me Ministries

Rescuing Relationships Through Ministry and Music.

Rescue Me Ministries was formed in 2012 by Bryan and Yvonne Hutson. Bryan & Yvonne Hutson are a Christian couple committed to encouraging, strength-ening and challenging other couples to FIGHT for their marriage and family. They are the parents of four wonderful children and a granddaughter. Bryan has been involved in Christian music ministry for 25 years. He was voted “Best New Artist” in 1997 and was nominated “Favorite Lead Vocalist” for 5 years. He has ministered with some of the biggest names in gospel music such as "The Heartland Quartet", "The Blackwoods", "The Kingsmen Quartet" and most recently; "Soul'd Out". God has allowed him to use his gifts and talents to reach people from the Georgia Dome, State Fairs, Television, The Grand Ol Opry to the smallest churches around the world. He also served as a Worship Minister for nearly 5 years. Bryan's philosophy has changed over the years. "I'm no longer an entertainer, I'm a worshipper”. Bryan often shares his personal story of a prodigal who returned to God. Yvonne spent her childhood as a preacher's kid in West Virginia. She is a dynamic and down to earth conference speaker who relates to women of all ages. Her passion is for young women who need mentoring. Yvonne’s "real" approach in life carries over into her ministry. A gifted songwriter; she writes songs of faith based on her own triumphs and trials. Their blog; "Journey With Bryan and Y" deals with real life and real issues in mar-riage and family. They also write a monthly article on marriage and family on SGMRadio.com. Bryan has written weekly devotions for AbsolutelyGospel.com for over 8 years. Bryan and Yvonne's marriage and ministry is God ordained and they share the de-sire to reach those who desperately need Jesus in their life, their marriage and their family. They are now affiliated with “FamilyLife” and are able to host/facilitate “The Art Of Marriage” events. Rescue Me Ministries has partnered with The Lutz Agency to further their ministry to reach the lost with the Gospel. You can reach Gordon Lutz of The Lutz Agency at 740-409-1060 and [email protected] for booking information. You can learn more about Rescue Me Ministries at www.rescuemeministries.com or on their Rescue Me Ministries Facebook page.
