Venezuela, as you can see from the pictures, is a beautiful country with abundant natural resources and miles of great beaches. At one time it was the wealthiest country in South America. But the large crowd of people pictured in the final

slide are not gathered to celebrate their resources or remember the good times; these people have gathered to

protest the oppressive, socialist regime of President Nicolas Maduro. Unfortunately, the protests have not yet forced

Maduro from office.
