The Walk held each autumn in ten locations around the U.S., is BGR’s main fundraising activity. Mark your calendar for two events at Jade Buddha Temple and join the walk. Get a copy at the Temple. Venerable Bhikkhu Bodhi Venerable Bhikkhu Bodhi, born in New York, has been a Buddhist monk since 1972. He is a world-renowned scholar and has translated many Buddhist texts from the Pali Canon into English. He currently lives and teaches at Chuang Yen Monastery in Carmel, New York.
