VBLOCKTM  SYSTEM  FOUNDATIONS    COURSE  DESCRIPTION Overview This course will introduce VCE Vblock SystemsTM, technologies and components, providing a basic understanding of what these products are and how they work. Training can be customized to your personal level of knowledge and experience with the Vblock System and related technologies. Also, at the conclusion of this training, you can acquire the VCE Certified Professional Associate credential by taking and passing the Certification Exam with a score of at least 80 percent. Please note: There are three alternative paths to acquire the VCE Certified Professional Associate credential.

1. Complete all sections of the training. Take the entire course in preparation for the Certification Exam which is available at the end of the training.

2. Take the Diagnostic Test to determine your strengths and weaknesses. This option is for people who have knowledge or experience in some but not all of the Vblock System technologies. After completing the Diagnostic Test, sections of this training are recommended for you to complete before attempting to pass the Certification Exam.

3. Take the Training Bypass Exam to skip the training and take the Certification Exam. This is for participants who have knowledge and experience in all of the Vblock System technologies and have confidence in their ability to pass the exam without additional training. If the exam is not passed in a single attempt, the Vblock System Foundations training must be taken and the Certification Exam must be passed.

Audience This course is intended for VCE employees, partners and customers who need a foundation level understanding of the Vblock System, its families, its components, and how these products work. Prerequisite Knowledge

- Vblock System 100 - Vblock System 200 - Vblock System 320 and Vblock System 340 - Vblock System 700

Assessments As part of this training, participants can take the Certification Exam to acquire the VCE Certified Professional Associate credential. This requires passing the Certification Exam with a score of at least 80 percent. At the start of this course, participants can choose to bypass the training and attempt to pass the Certification Exam. Alternatively, participants can choose to take part or all of the training before attempting the Certification Exam.
