1 Introduction IPTV Simple Client is a basic PVR Addon for XBMC to receive IPTV Live TV, Radio channels, and EPG directly in XBMC.

The VBox TV Gateway supports IPTV Simple PVR Client’s m3u playlists, receiving the Live TV, Radio channels and EPG streams from the VBox TV Gateway on your XBMC was never easier.

IMPORTANT: Please disable all PVR add-ons before installing this IPTV Simple Client add-on!

2 First Settings

Requirements: NOTE 1 – XBMC installed with LIVE TV (i.e. PVR Add-ons) feature disabled

NOTE 2 – Based on XBMC release 13 (The Simple IPTV Add-on is part of the distribution)

NOTE 3 – This feature is available from VBox TV Gateway software version 2.41 and above

2.3 Enable LiveTV Once you click on the Enable checkbook the “PVR Add-on Enable” popup will be display and

redirect you to enable PVR Add-on

If the Popup is not being shown go to section ‎4.1 Enable the the PVR Addon manualy to do

that manually settings.

2.7 General Configuration - Configure M3U path Select “Location” – “Remote Path (Internet address)”

Set the “M3U Play List URL” to http://<VBox IP>:55555/vboxSimpleIptv.m3u8

o The URL can be copy and paste from the VBox Device Manage page (see below).

o <VBox IP> - is the VBox Device IP

2.8 EPG Settings Configuration - Configure XMLTV path Select “Location” – “Remote Path (Internet address)”

Set the “XMLTV URL” to http://<VBox IP> /cgi-

bin/HttpControl/HttpControlApp?OPTION=1&Method=GetXmltvEntireFile

The URL can be copy and paste from the VBox Device Manage page (see below).

<VBox IP> - is the VBox Device IP

2.9 EPG Settings Configuration - Configure Channels Logos path Select “Location” – “Remote Path (Internet address)”

Set the “Channels Logos Base URL” to http://<VBox IP> :55555/images

The URL can be copy and paste from the VBox Device Manage page (see below).

<VBox IP> - is the VBox Device IP

After setting the URL press few time ESC until reaching Main Menu, and start watching TV

After enabling the Live TV PVR the “LIVE TV” entry is added to the Main Menu
