Project:Client: British American TobaccoDescription: One SAP data migration project, where I worked in 3 different teams sinceNovember 2013.

First team was the data profiling team, where I was responsible to extract data fromsource system using DataStage jobs and make profiling reports based on certain criteria inexcel. While working in this team I created a VB macro which was used to automate thereport creation and review process, thus saving a lot of time.

Second team that I worked in was the data quality team. Here we had to check thequality of data that was being loaded in the target system. Here I made use of Unix Scripts andalso learnt a lot about handling DataStage without using the GUI, thus again automating theentire quality check process. Checks would be made automatically on the loaded data onregular intervals.

Third team that I worked in was the DSP (Data Stewardship Platform) team. Here IBMacquired a license to use the DSP framework created by Backoffice Associates. I learnt a newtool, got the opportunity to travel to client location and experience how situations changewhile facing the client.

Also helped the defect management team to automatically pull raw data from an IPaddress and generate reports.
