UG PROJECT

HARDWARE PROJECTS:

1. PROJECT TITLE : ‘‘DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF FPGA BASED PIDCONTROLLER FOR BOOST CONVERTER’’

DESCRIPTION:

The project “DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF FPGA BASED PID

CONTROLLER FOR BOOST CONVERTER” is to control the output voltage of boost converter

using FIELD PROGRAMMABLE GATE ARRAY (FPGA). This is achieved by varying the

switching frequency of the MOSFET using FPGA device. The programming is written using

VHDL which is a highly reliable and flexible hardware description language. The web package

Xilinx 14.5 is used which provides a user-friendly programming platform.

2. PROJECT TITLE : ‘‘AUTOMATIC BOTTLING CONTROL SYSTEM’’

DESCRIPTION:

Normally the soft drinks are filled in bottles by automatic machines. Here we

done a project to fill the liquid in bottle automatically by using Microcontroller (89v51). By

sensing the level of the liquid in the bottle, the process is stopped.

SOFTWARE PROJECT:

PROJECT TITLE : ‘‘BANKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM’’

DESCRIPTION:

Banking management System” is based on C language, which keeps the day by day tally

record as a complete banking. It can keep the information of Account type, Deposit, Withdrawal,

Transaction details and Group account. The exciting part of this project is; it displays Statistical

summary of Account type and Interest Information.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Won Second prize in “Mock-Conference” conducted by Institution of Engineers (India),

Students Chapter (Electrical).

Won Second prize in “Paper presentation” conducted by ‘Electrotech’14 in

Kalasalingam University. Won Third prize in “Circuit Debugginng” conducted by EEE Association in

Thiagarajar College of engineering. Attended a workshop on “Embedded System” conducted by ‘Zephyrus’14’ in Mepco

engineering college. Completed “SOLAPP” training program conducted by IIT Bombay and ENELEK.

Participated in “India Analog Circuit Design Contest’14” conducted by Texas Instruments.
