Since 2010, Palo is inspired by nature. Palo combines tra-ditional artistry with modern innovation to create unique wooden eyewear. Founded in 2009 by Dutch designer Joost van Veldhuizen, VanJoost gained international fame with his iconic table de-sign ‘HeelGroot’. Ay illuminate produces lighting designs in several countries in Asia and Africa. The designers of Ay illuminate are inspired by both nature and different cultures, which is reflected in their use of organic shapes and natural (waste) materials combined with local handicraft expertise. To get inspired the design team works together with local hand crafters. This allows them to get to know the natural materials avail-able and the expertise of the handcraft. It is their way to discover the best solution to catch the unique beauty of different techniques.

NLXL focusses on premium quality wallpaper. NLXL is known for the ‘Scrapwood Wallpaper’ collection, brainchild of designer Piet Hein Eek and NLXL founder Rick Vintage. This collection won the Editor’s award at ICFF New York 2011 and can be found in the permanent collection of Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt Museum. Furthermore NLXL introduced the ‘Brooklyn Tins Wallpaper’ collection for Paris based concept store ‘Merci’, ‘Concrete Wallpaper’ by de-signer Piet Boon and ‘Remixed Wallpaper’ by Arthur Slenk. Following the success of their first collection, NLXL intro-duced ‘Scrapwood Wallpaper 2’ by Piet Hein Eek. NLXL wallpaper has no repeat, what makes the collections unique.
