COMPANY HISTORY

Vanguard Engineering Limited is a licensed Kenyan plumbing business that was founded in the year 2006 by Eliud Maina Gathanu and Josphat Kimani Wanjiku.

Our team consists of highly qualified professionals who run the day-to-day activities of the company and highly skilled technicians mandated with taking care of our clients’ needs on

the ground. The core team has six members of staff all experts in their fields of operation and they are:

Vanguard has between all its members of staff a combined working experience of twenty-six years, which makes us a well qualified, and a well oiled machine when it comes to your plumbing needs be it your commercial, industrial or residential needs.

Our current reach is within Nairobi and its environs, but we have the capacity to service clients who are in neighboring towns and cities. As the business grows we are looking to extend out reach to all corners of the country and setting up other bases of operation. Our overall goal is to eventually expand our reach to the whole of East Africa and become one of the preferred plumbing service providers in the region.

Vanguard Engineering Limited has its main office located at suite no.9, Aqua Plaza, Murang’a Road, Nairobi and a workshop located at Plot no.37 block 102 off kangundo road. From these two locations we are able to run all off-site operations.

We are capable of handling needs that range from leaky toilets, faulty hot water heaters, clogged pipes, septic problems, low water pressure in the residential sphere; to water heaters, back-flow devices, drain clogs, pipe replacement, fixtures and appliances of all types and sizes, water and sewer lines, gas lines, grease traps, sand traps, lint trap and sump pumps in the commercial spheres. We also design as well as install plumbing systems for new and remodeled projects.

GAS INSTALLATION & GAS SOLUTIONS

SOLAR ENERGY

We can install or upgrade your solar water heating systems for residential and commer-cial requirements. This service includes all the plumbing that is necessary. Maintenance services for hot water solar systems are also part of the portfolio.

We carry out swimming pools and spa mainte-nance services. For pool maintenance we of-fer a premium package and a basic package. Both packages include pool brushing; chemi-

cal filtering and chemical back washing, the only difference being the frequency of the repairing of the pool.

For the maintenance of your pool we repair and replace fault equipment which include: pumps, heaters, filters, timers/controls, lighting, motors and any other plumbing equipment that is pool related.

SWIMMING POOL INSTALLATION & POOL DRAINAGE

SYSTEMS

We provide a wide range of drip, sprinkler/overhead and in-ground/underground irrigation system installation to fit your small to large scale requirements for

both residential and commercial needs. Based on your needs, an evaluation of the type of irrigation system to be installed will be carried out. We shall then monitor

your system to ensure efficiency and satisfaction. We install irrigation systems for: • Farms• Green Houses• Lawns• Golf Courses

IRRIGATIONSYSTEMS

Vanguard Engineering will assess your risk levels based on what you have in the premises and there after advice you on what firefighting equipment is necessary and where it

should be placed for accessibility. Testing of all the equipment will be done after the installation to ensure that is in working condition. All the documentation necessary to certify the equipment as well as the supporting documents from the local authority.

FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEMS, SPRINKLER INSTALLATIONS & FIRE PROTECTION EQUIPMENT

For Commercial and residential areas Vanguard Engineering is able to assess the plumbing and irrigation systems for any leakage and give you a comprehensive report on the problem. We will then advice you on either the repairs that are needed or if the whole system needs replacement. We have the capacity to carry out both.

LEAKAGE TESTING SERVICES

Vanguard Engineering offers roofing and spouting solutions to prevent your roof and gutters from being corroded by debris. We leaf-guard and clean up your gutters to ensure no back-flow during heavy downpour.

ROOFING & SPOUTING

GENERAL REPAIRS & REPLACEMENTS

At Vanguard Engineering no job is too big or small for us, from repairing a simple drain clog to replacing a faulty sewer line. We assess the problem, advice you on whether you should repair the system or replace it and carry out the work to your satisfaction.
