Concentration determinationTheConcentrationMeasurementisprovidedwithselectablerecipesfortherangespecificationslistednextpage.Therecipescalculatetheconcentrationfromtherelationshipofconductivityversusconcen-trationandtemperature. Aone-pointortwo-pointcalibrationfacilityisavailabletoeliminatetheeffectontheconductivity-concentrationrelationshipfromanyforeignchemicalscontainedintheliquor.Howeverundernormalcir-cumstancescalibrationbeforeuseisnotneeded.Theanalogueoutputcanbesetuptodisplayexpandedrange.

Thesensorsperformmeasurementsofhighaccuracyandrequireminimummaintenanceduetointegratedautomaticscalingcompensation. Formeasurementinpureliquids,sensorswithinternalelectrodesandasmallmeasuringvolume(60ml)areavailable. Forslurryliquids,sensorswithexternalelectrodesareavailableinahydrodynamicself-cleaningcon-struction,measuringwithinavolumecorrespondingtoaradiusof75mm(3inches). Thesensorsareeasytoinstallduetothewideselectionofadaptors.ThecableconnectionpartsofthesensorsaremadeofAISI316steelinaruggedandwatertightconstruction(IP67).

The portable versionThePortableConductivityMeasurementismicro-processorbased,withrechargeablebattery,usingthe4-electrodeprincipleandisdesignedforconductiv-itymeasurementrangingfromultrapurewatertoconcentratedacids,bases,andpulpliquors.

Conductivity/Concentration/TemperatureTheConcentrationMeasurementmeasurestheconductivityaswellasthetemperatureandcalculatesthecorrecttemperaturecompensationfactor.

TheConcentrationMeasurementdirectlyconvertsthosedatatoactualconcentration,whichwillbedisplayeding/lor%,andwhichisavailableasoutputforPLCorDCSdisplayaswell. Beyondthepre-programmed22standardrecipes,otherrecipesforyourspecificsolutionsmaybeavail-able.
