What is the Valley of the Kings?
The Valley of the Kings is where pharaohs, architects, and viziers would be buried in the New Kingdom. All the pharoahs in the New Kingdom were buried here. Hatshepsut was the only lady buried in the Valley of the Kings. She was buried here because she wanted to be with Thutmose I.
