VALLEY INTERFAITH COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER

Remember the first Sunday of the month to bring canned/boxed food, clothing, and toiletries to donate. This ministry is located in Lockland just a couple of blocks from the church building. We have included VICRC in our mission support for many years. Your donations help the needy of Lockland and the surrounding com-munities. Bring your items to the church building and they will be delivered.

Lifeline Screening at LCC

Lockland Christian Church is pleased to offer a preventive health event. Life Line Screening, a leading pro-vider of community-based preventive health screenings, will host their affordable, non-invasive and painless health screenings on 3/4/2020. Five screenings will be offered that scan for potential health problems relat-ed to: blocked arteries; abdominal aortic aneurysms; hardening of the arteries in the legs; atrial fibrillation or irregular heart beat; and a bone density screening, for men and women. Register for a Wellness Package which includes 4 vascular tests and osteoporosis screening from $149 ($139 with our member discount). All five screenings take 60-90 minutes to complete. Join us in the Fellowship Hall for a fun and delicious time! Bring your favorite (homemade) pie to share with the crowd. There will be a contest for the best-tasting in these categories: Fruit, Cream (peanut butter, butterscotch, chocolate, lemon meringue, etc.), Nut, and Miscellaneous. Coffee and milk will also be served. Bring a friend and be ready for a sugar coma!

Mt. Healthy Christian Village Auxiliary

Each year, we are able to participate in the Auxiliary to help the residents. They can purchase extra items with the money they receive...things that the budget at MHCV does not cover. LCC has been very generous in the past, and we hope you will consid-er joining this again. $3/individual and $5/family.
