Life is too short not to spend each day the way you choose. I’ve found that it is possible to live that way, through Arbonne. With hard work and persistence, you can take this business all the way to the top. If you can be friendly, self-motivated and a good copycat, you can achieve success, and in turn have the ability to reach your dreams. What is success? It is living the life you desire by spending your time and finances the way you choose. The definition of success is not living the life someone else chooses for you.

I never really knew anything like Arbonne existed. My elementary school teaching career made all of my choices for me — my schedule, my vaca-tions, my family time, how much I could squeeze into the offering plate … what for? Why couldn’t I have more so that I could give more, be more and do more? When I was first introduced to Arbonne, I never would have believed that in one short year, I’d be a Regional Vice President driving a white Mercedes-benz, nor did I expect that I could more than replace my teaching salary. I never imagined that two years later, I would be a National Vice President taking trips to Hawaii, Cancún and Paris.

I first learned of the Arbonne business opportunity at a spa party hosted by a friend. I listened on the edge of my seat as Katie, my soon-to-be-sponsor, shared about the products and opportunity. Honestly, I thought there was no way I could do this business because I was so busy with teaching, coaching, earning a Master’s degree and working another part-time job! I lived in a tiny town and didn’t know very many people. I had no sales experience.

somehow, though, as I sat there listening to Katie, I knew I needed to take the information home with me. It was summer vacation and I was busy getting ready to start my first-grade class again. However, I had just spent my summer trying to think of little businesses I could start on my own so that I could get out from under a boss. As I sat in church on sunday a few weeks prior to the Presentation, I began praying that God would bring something like this into my life. I still have a little red piece of paper in my bible that I was writing goals and ideas on. You see, I knew there was more for me and that I could do something that would allow me to be a stay-at-home mom and not worry about money, yet still make a difference in people’s lives.

The turning point for me was when I was talking to eNVP shelly Nelson on the phone. I wanted to get more information and find out exactly what

she did to get to Regional Vice President. she painted a little picture for me on the phone that day and answered all of my questions. I loved that she wasn’t trying to talk me into it — she simply said that I would have amazing support if I chose to do it. she gave me the confidence I needed in order to believe I could be successful if I jumped in. I found out that day that people from all walks of life achieve success with Arbonne. I thought to myself, “successful people do the things that unsuccessful people are unwilling to do. Why not? If these other people can do it, so can I!”

At first, a lot of people who love me tried to talk me out of starting my Arbonne business. They were just trying to protect me and they really didn’t understand what it was all about. I almost changed my mind and decided not to do it, but then I thought, “Wait a minute — I am the only one who is going to pay my bills and stay home with my kids and pay for their education, etc. … so I am the only one who is going to make this decision!” I figured, what do I have to lose? I will work this alongside my teaching job and see where it takes me, as long as I give it my all.

After getting lots of no’s and feeling crushed, I called a few more people, including my sister-in-law, Julie, and she said yes! I don’t think she really had a choice since I was crying when I called her. I have since learned that isn’t the best way to book a Presentation! Thank you, Julie, and thank you to all of those who said yes. Thanks also to those who told me no, because it made me stronger.

As a schoolteacher, I loved watching children grow and learn. People often ask if I miss that and the answer is no, because that is what I do each and every day. Now I get to watch my son grow and learn each day and I get to raise him the way I want to. At the same time,

be friendly, self-motivated and a good copycat, and you can achieve success!

success strategy:

I get to help others grow in this business and attain their dreams. I get the best of both worlds, minus an alarm clock!

I was always good at a lot of things in life, but never really great at one thing. I was in many sports in school and had lots of fun hobbies, but I was never a superstar. As I was trying to think of businesses to do that summer, I thought, “What am I really good at? Loving people!” I remember thinking, “What business out there rewards someone for loving others — give me a break…” Hello, Arbonne! This business is a perfect fit for me because I get to do what I am best at every single day. Arbonne is about loving others and work-ing hard to get what you deserve out of life. Honestly, I got more than I deserve and more than I ever expected! My favorite part of Arbonne is not the Mercedes-benz, the trips or even the recognition. Yes, I do love it all, but you know what the best part is? It’s the little things that are not so little — things like waking up in the morning and going strawberry picking or to the beach. It’s kissing little Greggor’s boo-boos when he gets hurt. It’s feeling like every day is a holiday. It’s the friendships I’ve made with my amazing team that will last a lifetime. It’s experiencing the possibility of trading financial stress for personal growth, because in this business you have time to work on yourself and become a person of noble character and virtue. It is truly not about the jewelry or the money. Time is one of your most precious resources and once it’s gone, it’s gone! I was smart enough to know that I could sacrifice a little time doing this business now, to get what I want for the rest of my life. The beauty of Arbonne is that the products sell themselves, the people are genuine and the success is unlimited!

With Arbonne, the closer you get to the top, the nicer the people are. Just look at President Rita Davenport! You never know what is going to happen in life — I am so happy that I prepared by jumping into Arbonne. God blessed me by bringing this business into my life and I do not know what I would do without it. I get to live the best life ever now, and I am so humbly grateful for it. I would have to say that the most marvelous aspect of Arbonne is that nothing can stop you. The reality is that anyone who puts his or her whole self into it can be successful at this business. Do you want to live your best life ever?

Words are not enough to thank my dear team, my friends and my family. I am where I am because of you. You lifted me up when you didn’t even know I was down. I love each and every person who is part of my Arbonne team and I am so blessed to have you, not only as business partners, but also, more importantly, as dear friends. I pray for you and I know that with consistency and hard work, you will all be NVPs!

Thank you, God, for keeping me in the palm of your hand and helping me grow into a leader, and for giving me the grace I need. Thank you for all of the amazing blessings I get to enjoy and help others enjoy with Arbonne.

Thank you to my family, especially Mom, Dad, Daniel and my sisters, Julie and Laura. I love you all so much. Mom and Dad, you instilled values in me and taught me that a hard work ethic, honesty and a positive outlook are key in life.

Finally, I would like to thank my upline for all you have taught me. I’d especially like to thank President Rita, because you are the best role model for us all.
