Project Fair Report
Date 12th April, 2016
A project fair was organized on 12th
April 2016 by Mechanical Engineering Department. This
platform will help to make continuous contact between all stake holders from all team members,
Faculty Guide, Industry-mentors, fabricators etc. This platform will increase collaboration and
co-creation while improving novelty of project works. The online platform is developed to fill
the physical gap between various stake holders for their needs to develop innovations. It
provided a stage for industry persons to analyze ideas of students that can be helpful for
industries in future. Moreover the pre final year students also had a clear idea as to how they are
supposed to carry out their projects in the coming year by visiting the fair and interacting with
the final year students. They also learned various managerial skills by helping in organization of
the fair.
Total 42 projects were demonstrated by final year students. They have displayed the poster of
their project and working models to make it easily understandable for junior students, visitors of
the fair. An open invitation was sent to all the staff members and students of the institute and
outside Industries.
Experts from industry, Faculties from hosting, second year and third year students have visited
the fair. This fair provides a great platform for final year students to share their learning, ideas
and experiences with the visitors to organize this project fair we had invited following industrial
persons to evaluate and give necessary suggestions to the students:

Multi Functional compressive pneumatic
system through which we perform many
function easily in S.I Engine. In S.I Engine, the
Electric stator replaced by pneumatic stator and
air filling with the help of compressor. We can
start the engine easily by compressed air and
this compressed air also use in filing into the
tires whenever it required.

The project is mainly based on the human body
analysis. This project contains mainly
Biomedical+ Mechanical Engineering. The
project title show the meaning of human knee
joint analysis based on use of software analysis
of human body and different age group. This
project contain mainly introduction for human
knee joint, stress-strain developed in knee joint
during change in weight of body, failure of knee
bones under circumstances of weight ,change in
angle position of the knee joint . This all carried
out by software analysis using City-Scan data.
This project give a simple idea for the knee joint
and its problems for the bone.so we can
conclude , the efficiency of human knee joint
based on weight and current situation that how
long knee will stay safe and which material is
suitable for knee joint or knee implant.

Power Generation and Enhance Automation
in Automobile Vehicles
Here we are modifying an automobile for
producing power using turbines. We are using
the vehicle exhaust energy to generate the
electricity which can be stored in battery for
the later consumption. In this project, we are
demonstrating a concept of generating power
in a moving vehicle and will come across the
designing, simulation and prototype building
and its testing.
Feedback:
As every event is also an opportunity to learn something new and also to find shortcomings so
that it can be managed better next time. So we have taken feedback from students, Industry
experts and faculty members. Some of these are discussed herewith along with the photographs
of the event.
