Hours of operationVacation Care hours are 7:00am to 6.00pm.Pick up after 6.00pm incurs a late fee.Normal delivery and collection procedures apply.
Excursion timingsChildren will leave the centre for excursions at 9:30am and return by 3:30pm unless otherwise stated. On an excursion day please arrive no later than 1 hour before the scheduled depar-ture.
Food and what to bring
Breakfast is available between 7.00am - 8.00amChildren should bring:• Morning tea, lunch, • a hat, • a raincoat and • a refillable pop-top drink bottle. In line with Koolkuna’s Policy we aim to be a nut free zone.Children must wear a hat, a top that covers shoulders, sun cream and sensible walking shoes.No responsibility will be accepted for children’s property brought to the service.
Excursion information
Children can bring spending money on excursion days if desired; however, it is at the discretion of the staff whether children will be allowed to purchase items at each venue on the day.During the day, the children may go on mini walking excursions within the local area.The children often wade at the beach, not above their knees.

Wet Weather changes:
There maybe occasions where the planned program will be changed due to weather conditions. If there is an outdoor excursion that needs to be change, parents will be noti-fied. One for the following will substitute the planned program:Hoytz Warringah Mall, AMF bowling Dee Why, Flipout Brookvale, Laser Tag Entertainment quarter
Costing breakdown
Each vacation care day has a base rate of $60 per student, with the additional activity cost on top of that.E.g $60 (daily cost) + $15 (Ryde Aquatic Centre) = $75
