Introduction Background We started our operations in year 2007 as brick and mortar store. We specialize in Digital Signature Services and complete range of bio-metric devices, attendance machines and payroll systems. Understanding the need of the hour to have our own online store, we researched the web for years, explored various options and tried various platforms. Ultimately we found Ecwid to be the most economical, fastest, secure, promising and up growing platform to build online store within minutes. Thanks to its GUI approach which allows even non-tech savvy user to live its online store with minimum efforts. We are registered developers for this platform and our constant endeavor is to ease e-commerce business operations. We achieve this by automating the crucial aspects of e-commerce. Initially in March 2018, we started with the development of Indian payment gateway integration applications for this platform. Within the span of one year, we helped 5000+ users with our following connectors for:

After receiving requests from our various customers to automate shipping, we decided to build a stable solution for our customers. Again we researched the market for best logistic company all over India, which can provide widest coverage, multiple carriers, good customer support and economical shipping rates, we selected Shyplite. However, to re-ensure its services, we ourselves tested it rigorously and found it to be one of the best logistics aggregator in India. Why shipping automation is necessary for e-commerce?

App Interface Our app has following tabs/sections:

Dashboard This tab will help you in linking your online store with your Shyplite account. For that, you are required to fill your Shyplite API Keys. > Login to your Shyplite dashboard > Go to settings > API > Click Enable button > You will get your API Keys. Copy and Paste them in Dashboard.



After filling API keys, fill active warehouse IDs separated by commas.

You can find warehouse IDs in Shyplite Dashboard > Settings > Warehouses

Then select default warehouse ID.

Your selected default warehouse ID will be used as origin address for pick-ups

Click Save button after entering all details.

Now go to your store’s Shipping & Pickup > Settings and set origin address for serviceability check. Pincode specified here will be used to check whether customer’s shipping address is serviceable by Shyplite from origin pincode or not.



Advanced Settings In this tab you can set:

> Default Order Settings > Prepaid Rate Settings > COD Rate Settings

In this App, you can have different settings for Prepaid and COD shipping rates.

There are three options to choose from. o Estimated rates o Smart rates o Fixed rates

Orders This is your mini dashboard to manage your all orders which are auto-shipped by the app. Its interface is similar to Shyplite dashboard. Following are key features of this tab.

As soon as you change fulfillment status of any order with shipping method as Shyplite from AWAITING_PROCESSING to PROCESSING, that order will display in Orders Tab.

You can do following things with orders in this tab: o Book/Re-book o Cancel o Reverse

Before booking/re-booking, you can change the package dimensions, weight, pick-up warehouse, order type and mode type, if required.

Upon clicking book/re-book button, that order will be marked as shipped and AWB will be auto assigned. Press Refresh button to update orders tab to display latest data.

Every order can be re-booked only once.

Reverse button is used if your customer wants to return the product. Just press reverse button and it will generate reverse AWB automatically and it will be emailed to your customer too. Please note, reverse button will become active only after original order is delivered and not before that.

You can click: o AWB to download Shipping label o Tracking status to check live tracking o Manifest ID to close and download that particular manifest

Update Tracking Status button will check your orders delivery status. o If delivered > Order fulfillment status will change to Delivered o If returned > Order fulfillment status will change to Return

Our app will check your orders tracking status on daily basis. In case you need to update tracking urgently, you can press this button for instant update.

Features

Serviceability This feature will ensure that you will always be able to fulfill all the orders captured by

your online store.

Neither you are required to maintain and update latest pincode list in your store settings periodically nor you have to check whether any particular pincode is serviceable or not.

How does it work? Our app checks whether country and pincode entered by your customer in shipping address is serviceable by shyplite. If yes, then Shyplite’s available shipping methods will be displayed to the customers else not. App will consider origin pincode set by you in your online store settings as source pincode.



Rates As described above, there are various settings for rates. You can select estimated rates, add markup over it, activate smart rate or can have fixed rate per shipment. For more details, refer Advanced Settings tab. How does it work? Shyplite charges you for dead weight or volumetric weight of the package, whichever is higher. Our app will get dimensions and weight of individual products in the cart and will predict most optimum package dimensions and. Based on that, Shyplite provides shipping cost. So what you are required to do is:

1. Specify weight and dimensions for each product in your online store. 2. Check rate settings in Advanced Settings tab of our app.

Estimated Delivery Time Based on customer’s address and mode of shipping and type of order, our app will show your customer estimated transit time. This ensures proper information is passed on to your customers and they are aware of delivery schedule. No settings are required to be done by you for it.

AWB Generation AWB generation is automatic for the orders having shipping method as Shyplite Prepaid or Shyplite COD. How does it work? Default order fulfilment status is AWAITING PROCESSING. As soon as you mark order as PROCESSING, it will reflect in orders tab. After you mark is as SHIPPED, our app will generate AWB for it based on order data. After AWB generation, our app will update tracking number in the order and will notify your customer via email.

Tracking Status update Our app checks tracking status of all orders shipped via shyplite shipping method on daily basis. Upon delivery of the product, it marks order fulfilment status as Delivered or Returned. However, in case you want to update order fulfillment status instantly, you can always do it from orders tab of our app with a click of a button. No settings are required to be done by you for it.

Smart Rate Enabling this option from Advanced Settings tab will help you to keep your shipping cost to lowest possible as well as give options to your customer to select their desired shipping cost and mode of shipment.



How does it work? Shyplite provides various mode of order like Air, Surface, Lite, Rush, etc. All of them have different pricing slabs and serviceability. Our app checks pricing for all available methods and will book order via most economical mode to keep your shipping cost to the lowest.

Customize shipping Many times it may happen that you wish to ship certain order with other than default settings or wish to change weight and dimensions of the parcels. For this you can always go to orders tab and modify the settings for any order and can book it from there itself.

Manage Orders We have deeply integrated Shyplite in our app so that you can operate Shyplite from your online store dashboard itself. Go to Orders tab to manage all orders shipped via our app.

You can Book, Re-book, Cancel or book Reverse orders.

You can change warehouse, weight, dimensions before booking the order.

You can see carrier name, AWB, tracking status, Order Amount, etc.

You can download AWB by clicking tracking number.

You can track live by clicking tracking status.

You can close and download manifest by clicking manifest ID.

You can update order fulfillment status by clicking Update Tracking Status button.

How to use this app effectively?

Set Shipping Origin Settings in your control panel of online store.

Set correct weight and dimensions in each product in your catalog.

Fill your correct Shyplite API keys in Dashboard tab of this app.

Check Advanced Settings tab to ensure all settings are as per your requirements.

Test some orders.
