Ok I am going to attempt to write a walk­through on how to set up Vtank once you guys are ready.  It is verysimple and easy but seems daunting.  With this walkthrough it shouldnt take you more than 3 or 4 minutesto set up Vtank.

Click on the Vtank icon on the left hand side of your screen:

You will then see the main Vtank window:

To set up a character to leach:

     Type: /relog

           This will make it so your character will log out if a PK shows up or if your character died.  This is themost important part because it will prevent you from losing all your stuff and ending up with 40% vitae at thelifestone in the morning!

Once you type /relog your Relogging watermark should say "enabled" like so:

Once you have relogging enabled simply uncheck all of the boxes on the main Vtank page except "AutoFellow Mgmt." and "Run macro."

Final step: open your social tab then open the fellowship tab.  This will allow other character to /tell yourcharacter "Xp" and he will add them to the fellowship automatically.

Leave fellow tab open and you are ready to leach.  Double check that relogging is enable and double checkthat "run macro" is checked.

OK.  For combat macro.

The first thing you need to do is make sure you are lifestoned in Ayan Baqur (AB).  It is the only place thatyou can buy treated healing kits and massive mana stones.  To get to AB just take the mansion BlackSpawn Den Shrine (BSD).  It will drop you off at one of the three BSD's. So keep taking it until it drops youat the AB BSD, which is about 3 clicks from AB. Stock up on treated healing kits, tapers (1000­2000), andMassive Mana Charges to so your char can automatically refill armor and weapons with mana.  If you aregeared, which I am assuming you are if you are able to run a combat macro, then make sure you have atleast 2.5 packs worth of massive mana stones or loot death items worth 50k+.

Once you are in the dungeon and ready to hunt open up the Vtank window again. Set "monster range" to 3.Check "Enable Buffing," "Enable Combat," "Auto Fellow Mgmt.," "Enable Autostack," "Boost loot priority,""M. Charges when off," and "Advanced Options."

Click on the Advanced Options tab and check recharge.  This will open up a list of advanced options.  Scrolldown to "GoToPeaceModeToUSeKits" (8th from the bottom) and select "True."

If you are melee check "MeleeCombat" and change Enable Combat to true.  Set DefaultMeleeAttackHeightto 2 (medium).  And turn "AutoAttackPower" to False.

If you are a mage go to "SpellCombat" and set "EnableCombat" to True.

Select "Buffing" and set SpellDiffExcessThreshold­Buff to 0.  This option determines how far above theminimum requirement your skill should be to cast a spell.  For example if you set SpellDiff to 5 yourcharacter will only cast level 7 spells if your skill is 305 because the minimum requirement is 300 and theyour SpellDiff is set to 5.

Next step: under the looting option make sure "ReadUnknownScrolls" is set to True.  And"CombineSalvage" is set to True.  These should be default but are important.

Close the Advanced Options window, you are done with advanced options.

Go back to the main Vtank window, check "Enable Auto­Navigation," and select a .nav profile from the dropdown window.  Check "Enable Looting" and select a looting profile: "Loot4Me.utl" is good.

Go to "Vitals" tab and bump up the "Heal at:" bar to less than 1/4 down:

Go to the "Monsters" tab and make sure the A (attack) is checked if you are a melee.

If you are a mage make sure you have selected an element for "Dmg Type."  You can leave this at "Auto"but there I have run into problems with this option before.  If you start your macro and your character doesntattack, go to this option and select a Dmg Type.

Next go the the "Items" tab and clear it except for a wand and your weapons.  To clear items just click ontheir name in the Weapons / Wands / Shields window.  To add an item just select it in your pack and clickthe Add button.

Next go to the "Consumables" tab and CLEAR ALL POTIONS.  Then ADD MASSIVE MANA CHARGES.Add treated healing kits.  Clear and add functions the same as "Items" window.

Next Go back to "Profiles" tab.  Next to the "Macro Setting" drop down window click the "CopyTo" button.This will open your chat bar and prompt the Vtank command "/vt settings savechar"

After "savechar" type your character's name and hit enter to send the command.  This will save all of yourmacro setting as a profile in your Vtank folder.  Once you hit enter it will automatically select your currentprofile:

You can go into your Vtank folder and copy your settings profile, email it to yourself, and access it on other

computers so you can automatically load it again.

Once you have all this set.  Go back to your main "Options" window click "Run macro."
