Welcome! We are delighted you have joined us to share the excitement of the Grand Opening of the School of Science and Engineering (SSE). The SSE is UWF’s recognition that the realm of science and engineering has had to move out from behind the labs and out onto the sidewalks of Main Street. Our new building celebrates this strategic role and puts “science on display.” Much like a kaleidoscope, science and engineering are an ever-changing mosaic of discoveries and innovations. The faculty and students of the SSE are enriched by the collaborative experience presented within the interdisciplinary environment. The integration of the SSE programs into a community of learners will reach beyond the campus by providing the region a think-tank environment through research and entrepreneurship. We are invigorated by the opportunities that will abound from this facility. We invite you to explore our School, with the student-centered spaces throughout, and appreciate the enriched labs and classrooms that we now call home. Celebrate with us and enjoy!
