Renovation of Sorahi Temple

The Sorahi Temple is said to be 350 years old built by DatiaNaresh. Presently, the GaytriPariwar, Jahanabad is looking after the Temple.

The Sorahi Temple is located at Ghatampur –Chudagarha Project Road (UPG 04) near Jahanabad at km 55+950

Reaction of people about Enhancements

• Initially people were apprehensive at consultation stage about the enhancements.

• With subsequent consultations they agreed for the proposal.

• They provided all the support e,g, in storage of construction material in their premises and in removal of structures.

• Good rapport has been developed between people and PWD.
