Tips for Admitted Future RoadrunnersIf you’ve been admitted to UTSA, your next step is to get Rowdy Ready! Visit our various fairs to find out more about your specific major, learn about items that you still might need to complete or speak with Orientation staff at the sign up location in the GroupSpot Room ( 17 ). For awarded students, don’t forget to swing by the One Stop Enrollment Center ( ) to meet with available representatives! Our counselors can answer all your financial aid questions and map out your next steps.

ToursTo help you experience life as a Roadrunner, we're offering several types of tours:
Campus Recreation and Wellness Center – Tour one of the major hot spots on campus—the Campus Rec. Find out why it's more than just your average gym. Stop by our REC Center ( 1 ) for a tour.
College of Engineering – Stop by the Biotechnology Sciences and Engineering (BSE) Building Atrium ( 19 ) for the Engineering open house and take a tour of the facilities.
John Peace Library – The John Peace Library ( 17 ) is one of the most popular areas on campus and is a sight to see. Stop by at 10 am for a quick overview of our amazing facility. Tours will run approximately every 15-20 minutes.
Main Campus – See our beautiful campus in this 35–45 minute walking experience. Meet at the Student Union (SU) Food Court ( 9 ) to join a tour.
On- Campus Housing – See on-campus housing options and learn about the benefits of living on campus. Shuttles to housing depart from the Fiesta Dancers Statue ( 10 ) near the Student Union.
Virtual Tour – Don’t have time to see everything you’d like to on campus? Or have friends or family who’d like to see campus too? Visit future.utsa.edu/visit and click on “Virtual Tour” to see more of Main Campus and the Downtown Campus as well.
In the case of inclement weather, a short virtual tour will be conducted at the beginning of each Admissions & Financial Aid presentation.

Sombrilla PlazaLocated in the heart of the academic side of campus, the Sombrilla is an iconic gathering place for students. People have said that if you dip your hand into the Fountain of Luck during finals, it will bring good fortune to your exam.
The PaseoModeled after San Antonio’s River Walk, the Paseo is an outdoor pathway that serves as a hub for student life that hosts many on-campus events.
Roadrunner Statue In fall 2014, the Central Plaza unveiled the “Iron Rowdy” Roadrunner statue in a memorable dedication ceremony. The statue was brought about by several student clubs banding together to explore new ways to boost the university’s morale. Since then, it has served as a symbol of UTSA spirit and pride.
