What is Conformity Assessment Procedures , CAPs

The main forms of conformity assessment are, standards, sampling, testing, registration, certification, inspection .
Although testing is the most widely used, certification is the best known.

Quality Infrastructure (QI)
In order to promote the quality of the products, services and all other activities to be globally competitive, we have to have a solid Quality Infrastructure.
Quality, is a very important to be measured !, why?
Because, what can be measured can easily be: understood, controlled, predicted, and then can be changed.
This will help for;
Better understanding, Identifying the best practice and contributes to innovation, competitiveness and development.
17
QI Tools
Now easily we can figure out, that the main Quality infrastructure tools are: Standards .
Metrology.
Certification.
Testing .
So any country has its (QI) built and completed, will be considered as integrated country to the international quality systems.
What does that mean?
Simply, (QI) with strong and stable economy, is very good business environment .
In this case, Saudi Arabia is a very good business and investment environment.18
Conclusion
Now we know what's the Standards, CAPs, and QI ,
How it helps ? -Reduce costs by minimizing waste and errors, and increasing productivity.
-Help companies to access new markets ,
Facilitate trade, cross the borders globally with no technical barriers. -
-Consumer confidence and satisfaction .
In fact it is a very good advantage to invest in Certification and
Testing facilities.
